About the role
Solution Architect
Location: South-holland, NL
Time: 6-12 Months
Rate: 600-700 Euros/day
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of the organization’s overall information systems. In this role, you act as the key link between business processes and the technical landscape, ensuring that new working methods align optimally with the evolving IT system environment, including the data layer and integrations.
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:
Developing solution directions and assessing their feasibility within.
Designing and organizing the management of the enterprise architecture, with a focus on holistically connecting business processes with technical systems
Shaping and implementing a strategic vision for information management, with a strong emphasis on integrating object-oriented working into the target architecture
Ensuring sustainable principles for the recording, management, and accessibility of object information
Guiding necessary changes in the technical landscape, with business processes and new working methods at the center
Advising stakeholders on the design and setup of systems and processes, and translating evolving organizational requirements into workable and future-proof IT solutions
Job Requirements
A completed higher professional or university degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Information Management, or a related field
Knowledge of Information Security Foundation based on ISO/IEC 27002
Knowledge of Information Systems Development Foundation
Knowledge of Application Management Foundation
At least 5 years of experience as a strategic advisor and architect
Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrable higher professional/university-level thinking through experience as a strategic advisor and architect in complex (governmental) organizations

Extensive experience in applying information architecture principles and object-oriented approaches in process-driven environments across both public and private sectors

Knowledge of metadata management, data quality, and archival legislation

Experience in developing target architectures within complex governmental environments

Skilled in aligning business needs with technical solutions

Strong communication skills and experience with stakeholder management

Experience in delivering software solutions in BPM environments, such as Pega

Experience communicating and making decisions at the C-level (preferably within government organizations)
