Splunk Engineer

Role Specific Expertise and Experience ( Technical / Business / Tool ) Splunk engineer

Database knowledge either as DBA or developer would be useful.

Knowledge of Jenkins, Git and DevOps principles, APIs etc

Role Purpose (overall high level summary of the role)

• Develop new functionalities to meet existing demand;

• Support and maintain the existing Splunk dashboards.

• Development of new modules and roles to meet requirements business demand.

• Document all activities, topology, configuration and procedures.

General Knowledge & Experience (For the role – not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience of engineering solutions

• Good working experience of splunk

• Knowledge of coding principles and delivering software changes.
