Job Title: Supply Chain Solution Architect

Job Purpose and primary objectives: This Position is for the Supply Chain Solutions Architect role at the client side. The responsibilities and tasks that the architect must fulfil is to Deliver a critical Supply Chain transformation Project.

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

Will be able to look into the Logistics and supply chain technology and business landscape and able to suggest the way forward in order to achieve the business goals with technology replacements/upgrade and so on.

Will be able to define the target technology roadmap and milestones in order to achieve the ongoing supply chain transformation journey.

Will be able to oversee all ongoing programs and change initiatives in this supply chain estate and to create dependency plan, Risk and mitigation plan and other program level technology implementation plans.

Analysing the technology landscape specifically Supply Chain, Logistics and impacted downstream.

Analysing enterprise specific requirements.

Analysing and documenting technical requirements.

Setting the collaboration framework.

Creating a solution prototype.

Participating in technology selection.

Controlling solution development.

Translating project-specific needs into a cloud structure that will suit those needs and considering the project needs in terms of resource usage and scalability.

Designing the cloud environment from a holistic point of view, ensuring it meets all the Project requirements.

Carrying out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within this implemented cloud structure.

Overseeing cloud security.

Completing the integration of new applications into the cloud environment.

Offering training and guidance to all whose roles bring them into contact with the cloud structure.

Keeping on top of usage of space in the cloud and making sure the structure is operating at full efficiency.

Working with business clients to understand their needs and to implement the cloud strategies designed to meet those needs.

Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud.

Key Skills/Knowledge: Good understanding of Retail supply chain

Good experience in working with supply chain PO forecasting and Demand Forecasting systems

Good experience in working with GCP and AWS cloud platforms

Good understanding of Microservices, SOA and other technology services platforms.

Experience required: Minimum 5 years of working experience as solutions architect in the Retail domain.

Duration of the Assignment: 6 Months and extendable for a further 1 year.
