SYBASE Database

EXP : 8 years

Preferred Location :: Bangalore/Pune (Pan India will also work)

Must have:

• At least 5 years of Core DBA Skills across a core database (Sybase and SQL servers) including

• Database Installation, configuration, Patching and fixes.

• Backup and Recovery, Data Import/Export Technologies

• Database performance Tuning

• Monitoring Platforms

• Problem solving

• Database capacity planning

• Database Disaster recovery (DR) Strategy (eg: mirroring, log shipping...etc)

• OS level activities related to database tasks and windows administration

• Programming experience with Stored Procedures, Shell scripting and/or demonstrable open-source contributions.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• DR planning and testing experience
