For this position we are looking for an all-round IT professional who is primarily responsible for managing database environments and is also able to perform technical application management activities. For this reason, the following activities and areas of knowledge in which the activities must be carried out are distinctive for this role.

• Act as 2nd line support for various applications

• Perform technical changes on these applications;

• Analyze and resolve disruptions

• Advise on issues and possible solutions to problems

• Perform daily management activities related to the reliability, availability and integrity of the applications for which DICTU is responsible.

• Knowledge of IT service management (ITIL);

• Knowledge of and demonstrable experience with VMWare, Microsoft server operating systems,

• Knowledge of and demonstrable RES ONE / AVANTI workspace, Citrix XenApp and Microsoft MDT

Background

DICTU is looking for a driven All-round IT professional who excels in the field of Technical Application Manager. The work is carried out within Team Four of the 1-on-N services division. The ideal candidate has a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure and a specialist knowledge of the technical (application) management of workplaces. This includes Microsoft (server / workplace) operating systems, RES ONE / AVANTI, Citrix XENAPP and other tooling for the management of Workplaces.

The Technical Application manager is responsible for providing services to the customer in accordance with the agreed agreements as laid down in Service Level Agreements. These services focus on the continuity of services offered to the end-user organization. In addition, the technical application manager will play a major role in the development and implementation of a test methodology and the execution of test activities in the context of changes and possibly projects.

• Experience in working with ITSM tool TopDesk - 5 years

• Experience working in complex government environments - 5 years
