About the role
AUTOMATION TEST ENGINEER
MUST HAVE
Minimum 10 years experience
Experience in testing, reviewing for quality, setting test frameworks and standards, optimising and debugging high performance data pipelines
Experience on ETL testing automation.
Good experience on data migration testing.
Having experience on TDD and BDD
Experience with SQL & NoSQL technologies, ideally cloud based technologies.
Confident at writing database complex queries
Experience in developing automation script's using Python, Pytest and Spark
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Mac
Strong knowledge of Streaming technologies
Strong knowledge of AWS Data platform (S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue, RDS)
Experience in DevOps, CICD
Good understanding of each level of testing life cycle
Having strong experience in Agile environment.
GOOD TO HAVE
Understanding of any ETL tools, like Informatica, Pentaho, Airfllow
Knowledge of data modelling and understanding of different data structures and their benefits and limitations under particular use cases, with good knowledge of Big Data.
Good understanding and experience on preparing/designing tools of testing and prioritise test to automate.
Experience in insurance domain
Knowledge of streaming data technologies such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis and AWS Lambda. Basic AWS platform experience, Docker
Experience on performance testing (data load specific) but not essential.
Understanding of BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Looker.
