Job Title: Virtualization Consultant (VMWare)

Location: The Hague, Netherlands (Hybrid – at least 2 days per week onsite)

Duration: Long Term, initially 160 days Contract

What will you be bringing to the team?:

Drive engineering specifications of VMWare vRealize Automation

Produce the corresponding engineering design and operations manual

Coordinate with the security engineering team, the infrastructure engineering team and the architects, factoring those teams' input into the engineering specifications

Assist in the validation and testing of the vRealize Automation solution in various environments, including test, preproduction, and production.

Ensure that the solution functions as intended and meets performance, scalability, and reliability criteria.

Troubleshoot and address any issues or discrepancies identified during validation.

What do you need to succeed in this position?:

Bachelor's degree or 3 years of higher education

Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering of VMWare solutions, especially vRA / vRO

Minimum 6 years' experience with Virtual Server / Virtual Machine engineering and build

Minimum 2 years' experience with IPAM and Firewall (Checkpoint) technology specifications

Participation in a minimum of 2 self service provisioning related projects

Participation in a minimum of 1 ICT Research and Innovation related project

Good knowledge of virtualization technologies and products

Good knowledge of security infrastructure

Working knowledge of English at B2 level
