Wintel Level 2 Administrator

Responsibilities :-

• Adhering to SLAs

• Reporting to the Track Lead / Team Lead

• Helping team members in case of Issues/Technical Problems

• Handling tickets / requests

• Troubleshooting technical issues

• Ensuring that the processes are adhered to

• Responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration

• Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA

• Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment

• Implementing new technologies and design changes

• Applying patches/upgrades to maintain security level

• Technical Requirements

1. Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 servers with knowledge of NT4.0

2. User Account administration

3. File and Printer administration

4. Patch administration and deployment

5. Fine-tune the system for optimal performance

6. Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment

7. Experience in atleast one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup /Arcserve/ Legato

8. Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue

9. Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.

10. Must have aptitude and attitude to learn / work on new technologies.

• Worked on Production systems

• Years of Experience

• Total : 3-6 Years of experience

• Relavant : 3+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (atleast 50-60 Servers)

• Certification requirements

• Desired:- MCSE
