Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWORKING LOCATION: CoimbatoreWork Experience: 3- 7yearsOVERALL OBJECTIVES:As a Business Analyst you will play a key role across the Qualitype/eLIMS Forensics programme, supporting the delivery of Business Requirements across Forensics Case Management, DNA LIMS and Expert Reporting workstreams for an active user base of approximately 300 users. This role within a complex, regulated transformation programme and will work closely with operational SMEs, programme leadership and distributed IT delivery teams across the UK, Europe, nearshore and offshore locations. The role is focused on full BR support across the programme lifecycle: requirements elicitation, process mapping, requirement decomposition, traceability, change control, testing readiness and business acceptance support. You will help translate forensic operational needs into clear, structured Business Requirements and User Requirements that can be taken forward by solution architects, functional analysts and development teams. The role requires strong collaboration with both business and IT teams to ensure requirements are high quality, aligned to process, and sequenced ahead of development cycles. Main responsibilities: Lead and support structured requirements gathering across multiple programme workstreams, ensuring clarity of scope, ownership, version control and traceability. Work with operational SMEs, process owners and IT teams to define, refine and maintain Business Requirements and supporting User Requirements in line with agreed standards. Develop and maintain process maps, requirement packs and supporting documentation to ensure requirements are grounded in real end-to-end business processes and regulatory needs. Challenge, clarify and decompose complex requirements, including identifying variants by workflow, lab, geography or customer where required. Partner with solution architects, functional analysts, developers and testers to ensure requirements are understood, feasible, sequenced correctly and translated into deliverable outcomes. Support requirement arbitration, prioritisation and change control, including identifying duplication, overlap, dependencies and out-of-scope items. Work ahead of the development cycle to keep the backlog prepared, support sprint readiness and reduce delivery risk across concurrent workstreams. Contribute to test readiness by helping define acceptance criteria, supporting UAT preparation and ensuring business requirements can be validated effectively. Facilitate workshops, including face-to-face sessions where needed, to build alignment across operational and IT stakeholders and drive timely decisions. Ensure requirements and process outputs reflect the needs of a regulated forensic environment, including quality, security, compliance and accreditation considerations.
