Job Description Position Title: L3 Operations Senior Compute Engineer REPORTiNG TO: Compute Service Operations Lead, Environment Testing Europe GEOGRAPHICAL REPORTING LOCATION: Coimbatore/ India NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES UNDER RESPONSIBILITY: 0 OVERALL OBJECTIVES: As part of the IT Infrastructure Support Team for Eurofins Environment Testing Europe, you will join a growing international team to work on maintenance of newly deployed segregated IT User Zones and Application Availability Groups Cloud infrastructure. Your role will be to support daily Compute operations tasks in a complex hybrid environment in Azure Cloud and local HyperV infrastructure. You will collaborate with number of different IT Support and Delivery Teams on daily basis. It will require strong Azure & HyperV virtualization, AD, Security and Networking skills. Open mind and ability to cooperate with multiple individuals in a multicultural environment is essential. SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS: Manage, maintain and optimize Azure compute services as well as on-premises Hyper-V clusters and virtual machine infrastructure Implement automation and orchestration for deployment, scaling, and management using PowerShell Monitor compute infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, and execute root cause analysis to prevent recurrence Collaborate with cloud architects, network, and security teams, as well as application owners at the international corporate level to support compute capacity planning and optimization and best meet business requirements in terms of security, cost, and effectiveness Enforce security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud and on-prem environments Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code for both Azure and Hyper-V platforms Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the compute operations team Maintain .
