QA Test Engineer - C, Selenium Automation, Typescript, API testing

Job Description POSITION NAME: Senior QA Test Engineer REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES: This person should work as Senior QA Test Engineer contributing to testing of Eurofins products. Responsibilities Perform manual testing of webbased applications, web services in a clientserver environment and script .Net/C# code to test services UI as per project need. Own functionality and deliver on time, bringing different testing flows/methods for given scenario. Perform functional, sanity, database, endtoend integration and regression testing independently adhering to SCRUM guidelines. Adhere to test strategies and test plans to ensure high quality product delivery. Work collaboratively with stakeholders (Development, QA, Project Manager, BA, onsite teams) for successful test coverage and quality. Escalate and follow up in a timely manner on blocking issues and deviations from SOPs. Keep lead/manager informed on progress. Have strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes. Technical Knowledge Good developer/tester with knowledge of .Net, SQL, C# or Java. Experience with Test Management process. Understanding of functional, database, sanity, endtoend integration and regression testing. Experience in API testing and SOAP/REST service automation. Strong SQL skills and UML understanding. Clear understanding and experience in Scrum methodologies. Personal Qualities Good English communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing). Independent, responsive problem solver, selfstarter and proactive actions. Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities. Ability to work in an international environment and be at ease with distant communications via various technologies. Excellent analytical skills, able to quickly identify gaps in testing and integrations. Qualifications and Experience Required Good developer/tester with knowledge of .Net, SQL, C# or Java (desirable). Good knowledge of Test Management process. Understanding of functional, database, sanity, endtoend integration and regression testing. Experience in API testing and SOAP/REST service automation. Strong SQL concepts and UML understanding. Experience with Scrum methodologies. Degree: BE/MCA or equivalent.
