View all jobs WMS Configurations Consultant Remote, Remote Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and technical WMS Configuration Consultant to lead the design, build, and optimization of our new WMS platform. We are open to experts from Manhattan (Active/WMOS), Blue Yonder (JDA), Korber (HighJump), or Oracle LogFire who possess the "architect’s mindset" to translate complex business requirements into system configurations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end technical setup, creating complex customizations via rule engines, and ensuring the system scales with our operational growth. Key Responsibilities System Architecture: Lead the functional and technical design of the WMS, ensuring it aligns with physical warehouse flows (receiving, putaway, wave management, picking, and shipping). Configuration & Customization: Hands-on configuration of the Made4net environment. Use the internal toolsets/rule engines to build custom logic for task interleaving, slotting, and replenishment strategies. Workflow Design: Map "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" processes, identifying gaps where the WMS requires custom business logic or integration touchpoints. Integration Support: Collaborate with IT teams to map data between the WMS and ERP/TMS/MHE systems (via API, Flat Files, or XML). Testing & UAT: Develop test scripts and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that customizations meet operational speed and accuracy requirements. Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks in the system logic and re-configure rules to improve warehouse throughput. Required Qualifications WMS Pedigree: 5+ years of deep configuration experience in at least one major WMS: Manhattan Associates (Active, WMOS, SCALE) Blue Yonder / JDA (Dispatcher or WMS) Korber / HighJump (Advantage platform experience is a huge plus) Made4net (WarehouseExpert) Logic-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to build "if-then-else" logic, SQL queries, or rule-based workflows to solve complex operational hurdles. Data Literacy: Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL) for data backend validation and reporting. Problem Solving: You don't just "use" the software; you understand the underlying database schema and how data moves through the application. Preferred Skills (The "Nice-to-Haves") Experience with Made4net WarehouseExpert or other NetSuite-integrated WMS platforms. Knowledge of MHE Integration (conveyors, sorters, or AMR/Robotics). Label design experience (Bartender, Loftware, or ZPL). Background in 3PL environments with multi-tenant configuration needs.
