About the role
As a Data Platform Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of data platforms such as Qlik Replicate, Power BI, Tableau, DBT, Snowflake, and AWS admin. Your role will involve overseeing platform maintenance, monitoring availability, performance, and security, providing technical support for data platform-related issues, assisting users, and collaborating with data engineers, architects, and IT teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring data quality and integrity across all platforms - Developing and supporting interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau - Troubleshooting AWS S3/SFTP issues - Implementing best practices for cloud security and cost management - Identifying opportunities for optimizing data platform performance - Staying updated with the latest trends in data platform management - Participating in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies and tools Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field - Proven experience in data platform support or a similar role - Proficiency in Qlik or any other ETL/ELT tool, Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau, AWS Lambda, Glue, SQL, and Python - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Preferred qualifications: - Experience with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Fabric - Familiarity with data governance and security principles (Note: Any additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
