About the role
As a Firmware Developer Power Control Engineer for our esteemed client in Bangalore, your role involves implementing and maintaining firmware for building automation embedded components and sub-systems. Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, troubleshooting, and enhancing software/firmware applications. You will develop and run automated tests to verify sub-system application functionality, create and review technical documentation, and collaborate with Senior Engineers to design solutions based on market requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain firmware for building automation embedded components and sub-systems - Design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and enhance software/firmware applications - Develop and run automated tests to verify sub-system application functionality - Create and review technical documentation for internal process and external customer support - Collaborate with Senior Engineers to understand market requirements and design solutions - Review software methodologies for product design and model documentation - Collaborate on international, multi-site development in an agile environment - Participate in design alternatives via prototyping, peer programming, and expert reviews - Resolve field problems in application of existing products Qualifications Required: - Strong embedded C or C++ skills with exposure to Embedded Linux - Familiarity with Configuration management tools like Subversion and Git - Proficiency in Python script language, data structures, and design patterns for high-quality code writing - Experience in firmware development of analog/digital power control (DC/DC, AC/DC, DC/AC) and IoT devices - Knowledge of wireless product development using Ethernet, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, LoRa protocols This is an immediate requirement, and you are expected to join within 20 days or close to 20 days.
