About the role
Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer Job Location: Pune Total Experience: 1 to 3 Years Job Type: Work from Office Qualification: BE/B.Tech (CS/IT), MSc. (Comp/IT), MCM, MCA Looking for Immediate Joiners Role & responsibilities - Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows and Mac OS on laptops/desktops. - Perform hardware troubleshooting and replace faulty components. - Install and configure Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS , and basic firewall settings. - Provide support for VOIP and ILL (Internet Leased Line) connections . - Perform basic networking tasks, including configuring LAN, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting network issues. - Monitor and maintain system performance and security. - Provide on-site technical support as needed. - Maintain documentation of IT assets and incident reports. Preferred candidate profile - Prior experience in a corporate IT support environment is desirable. - Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware components and troubleshooting. - Experience in operating system installation & configuration (Windows/Linux/Mac). - Good understanding of basic networking concepts (LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN). - Hands-on experience with VOIP, ILL, and firewall configurations. - Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) administration. - Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues quickly. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
