DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role As the Technical Consultant, you will: Install, configure, and support Extreme Networks Switching, Wireless, NAC, and SD-WAN solutions. Perform network implementation, migration, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities for enterprise customers. Monitor network performance and resolve technical issues within defined SLA timelines. Coordinate with OEM TAC teams for technical escalations and issue resolution. Prepare HLD/LLD, implementation documents, network diagrams, and technical reports. Conduct health checks, preventive maintenance, and firmware/software upgrade activities. Support customer POC, testing, and deployment activities for new solutions and technologies. Work closely with pre-sales, project, and support teams for successful project delivery. Provide technical knowledge transfer and training to customers and internal teams. Maintain technical certifications and continuously upgrade knowledge on Extreme QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you The ideal Technical Consultant : Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 8 years of experience in Enterprise Networking, Wireless, Switching, and Network Security solutions. Hands-on experience with Extreme Networks Switching, Wireless, NAC, SD-WAN, and Cloud IQ solutions. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, VLAN, STP, Routing, Wireless technologies, and network troubleshooting. Experience in implementation, configuration, migration, and support of enterprise network environments. Good understanding of network monitoring, NAC, network automation, and security best practices. Experience in handling customer deployments, troubleshooting, RCA, and coordination with OEM TAC support. Relevant certifications such as Extreme Certified Specialist (ECS), Extreme Certified Professional (ECP), or equivalent networking certifications are preferred. Knowledge of multi-vendor networking environments including Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or Fortinet is an added advantage.
