Assistant / Deputy Manager - MES Specialist

Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for MES - Planning in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve companys' goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location. Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore This is a 5-day, in-office role, with the 1st and last Saturdays of each month being working days. However, depending on role and business requirements, you may also be required to work on additional Saturdays / Sundays and in shifts. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure end-to-end material traceability from goods receipt to finished goods dispatch using MES, SAP, and other relevant manufacturing systems. Ensure timely and accurate posting of material movements (Raw Material, Semi-Finished Goods, and Finished Goods) in the system. Identify, correct, and prevent material variances resulting from incorrect system postings. Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records in MES and SAP to support traceability, audits, variance analysis, quality control, and inventory accuracy. Analyze MES and SAP data to detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and recurring operational issues. Reconcile discrepancies between MES and SAP data, including production quantities, scrap, and rework. Ensure proper batch management, lot tracking, and material traceability across all production stages in MES and SAP. Utilize MES to monitor real-time production progress, equipment status, and work order completion. Verify that all production activities are accurately recorded and confirmed in MES and SAP. Validate material availability before production begins and coordinate with logistics or warehouse teams to replenish materials as needed. Provide guidance and basic training to operators and new users on MES/SAP processes and best practices. Eligibility: This position is open only to Bachelor's graduates in Engineering.
