About the role
Visualization SME – Roles and Responsibilities Design & Develop Dashboards Build interactive and insightful dashboards using tools like Power BI Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance, scalability, and usability. Data Processing & Transformation Work with SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R to clean, transform, and structure data for visualization. Connect to databases, data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and APIs. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for reporting, analytics, or downstream applications. Translate complex datasets into clear, meaningful visual insights for business stakeholders Optimize & Automate Reports Automate report generation and delivery using scripting (Python, R) or BI tool scheduling. Optimize queries for faster performance in data-heavy environments. Validate and clean data to ensure accuracy in visualizations Insurance domain experience – P&C or L&A domain experience candidate will be preferred Team player / strong communication skills Skills Typically Required Data Visualization & BI Tools → Tableau, Power BI (Must) Programming & Querying → SQL, Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn), R, Database & Cloud Knowledge → Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Google Data Studio Data Storytelling → Ability to present complex data visually & explain insights Performance Optimization → Query tuning, caching, and dashboard optimization ETL & Data Integration → Working with APIs, data pipelines, and workflows Knowledge of AI, ML, and automation in BI is a plus.
