BA + BI Developer

Job Description: You will be responsible for analyzing business data in a large-scale data application environment, including data analysis, data mapping, and data transformations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your 3-6 years of experience in Snowflake, any relational database, BRD creation, and requirements gathering - Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong tracking abilities - Proficiently using SQL for business requirement gatherings and writing source-to-target mappings (STTM) - Having exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization processes - Working with Insurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) Domain clients, focusing on policy & claims lifecycle and reinsurance business - Integrating quickly into the team and independently working towards team goals Additionally, you will be expected to build BI solutions by applying data analysis techniques and industry best practices. This will involve developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports aligned with business requirements, as well as designing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop. Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 and data modeling is considered a plus, along with familiarity with Tableau and Cognos for advanced BI and reporting capabilities. Experience in Tableau, including effective spreadsheet modeling and advanced functionalities, is also beneficial. Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins and Git, with experience in CI/CD pipelines, is desirable. Role & Responsibilities: As a Business Data Analyst, you will act as a liaison between technical and business teams.
