Senior BI Architect

As a Senior BI Architect, your role will involve designing and leading comprehensive enterprise BI and analytics solutions. You'll work with stakeholders to translate insurance data into actionable business insights that drive strategic decisions. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing dashboards and visualization frameworks using Power BI and Tableau - Data modeling and optimization, including designing and refining data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and semantic layers - Developing advanced data solutions using DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and Python - Implementing data governance standards for data quality, security, and metadata management - Championing self-service BI initiatives and streamlining workflows with Power Automate - Establishing CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards for optimal performance - Collaborating with data engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance and data quality issues - Mentoring BI developers, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field - 10+ years of BI and analytics experience with expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and data modeling - Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and ETL/ELT processes - Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation - Strong understanding of data governance principles and enterprise BI architecture - Direct experience working in the insurance domain Nice to have skills include experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps in BI environments, and strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
