BI Architect

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to transform raw data into actionable insights. Collaborate with data engineers, stakeholders, and IT teams to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that facilitate data-driven decision-making. Your role will involve data modeling, ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy while staying updated with advancements to optimize analytics capabilities. Additionally, you will participate in rapid prototyping, POC development efforts, and advance overall enterprise technical architecture and implementation best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions to transform raw data into actionable insights. - Collaborate with data engineers, stakeholders, and IT teams to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations. - Participate in rapid prototyping, POC development efforts, and advance overall enterprise technical architecture. - Ensure data accuracy, stay updated with advancements to optimize analytics capabilities. - Assist in developing and refining functional and non-functional requirements. - Demonstrate knowledge of compliance with state and federal regulations and laws. - Produce high-quality deliverables the first time and deliver work product according to established deadlines. - Estimate tasks accurately, work collaboratively in a small team, and excel in a rapid iteration environment. - Deal positively with uncertainty, ambiguity, and shifting priorities and work with little to no supervision. - Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Fabrics, and experience in performance tuning of BI reports and dashboards. - Experience with Cloud technologies such as Azure & AWS and deep understanding of source/version control systems. - Develop branching and merging strategies, work with Web API, REST, JSON, and conduct unit testing. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree is required, and/or a minimum of four (4) + related work experience. - Strong experience with data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning. - Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets. - Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD for data solutions. - Ability to work in Agile environments and with remote teams. - Proficient in client engagement and proactive communication with client/team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently in a client-facing role. - Experience in mentoring or coaching team members is a plus.
