HSM Engineer

Our client, a leader in secure cryptographic solutions, is seeking a HSM Engineer to join their team. As a HSM Engineer, you will be part of the Security Infrastructure Department supporting cryptographic operations and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: HSM Engineer Location: Chandler, AZ/ Omaha, NE (5 days onsite a week) Pay Range: $50 What's the Job? Manage the full lifecycle of HSM appliances, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance Support cryptographic key management processes and ensure compliance with industry standards Perform firmware upgrades, troubleshooting outages, and incident resolution Create detailed technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams Serve as a backup key custodian for sensitive cryptographic operations What's Needed? 3–5 years of experience in HSM administration and cryptographic operations Hands-on experience with HSM vendors such as Thales, Entrust, or Futurex Strong understanding of PKI, digital certificates, and key management practices Familiarity with security standards like FIPS 140-2/140-3, PCI-DSS, and NIST guidelines Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks What's in it for me?
