About the role
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Oracle DBA to join their team. Role Title Oracle DBA Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite) Role Overview Senior Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years of experience supporting large-scale Oracle environments . This role focuses on performance tuning, troubleshooting , and high-availability architectures , including GoldenGate multi-master replication and Data Guard . Core Skills & Experience Oracle Database Administration 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience in large UNIX-based environments Experience in financial institutions (preferred) Strong expertise with: Oracle 19c Oracle 23ai High Availability & Replication 5+ years supporting Oracle RAC on UNIX environments Expertise in: Oracle RAC upgrades (19c / 23ai) Oracle Data Guard (build & support) Oracle GoldenGate & GoldenGate 23ai GoldenGate multi-master replication GoldenGate configuration and support Performance & Tuning Strong experience in: Oracle performance tuning Database troubleshooting Optimization in high-volume environments Scripting & Automation Proficiency in: UNIX Shell scripting Perl scripting Tools & Technologies Experience with standard Oracle tools: Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Toad SQL Developer Operations & Support Experience with: On-call / pager duty support Managing complex production environments Ensuring database stability and reliability Core Competencies Ability to support complex enterprise environments Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to jump in and support team needs Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
