Role Title
Production / Technical Support III Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite) Role Overview As a Production Service Specialist III , you will support, maintain, and troubleshoot applications used within Financial Centers. This role focuses on analyzing complex production issues , driving them to resolution, and acting as an escalation point for technical troubleshooting, code review, and database updates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions while ensuring system stability and performance. Core Skills & Experience Programming & Development Core Java (7+ years) Strong experience with: JavaScript HTML C / C++ Strong debugging and application troubleshooting skills Database & Querying Oracle SQL / PL/SQL General understanding of relational databases Ability to: Analyze and update database records Support production database issues Monitoring & Observability Strong experience with: Splunk Familiarity with monitoring tools: CA Introscope Glassbox AppDynamics Dynatrace DNT Production Support & Tools Experience with: Remedy Incident, Change, and Problem Management system Exposure to: WebSphere JBoss Oracle Linux OpenShift Containerized environments Core Technical Skills 7+ years of application programming experience Strong troubleshooting and debugging expertise Ability to: Handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments Adapt to constantly changing priorities Key Responsibilities Analyze and resolve complex production issues Act as an escalation point for application support Review code and database changes Collaborate with: Development teams Infrastructure teams Support teams Identify root causes and implement long-term fixes Maintain system stability and ensure minimal downtime Core Competencies Strong communication skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability Self-starter with strong ownership mindset Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
