About the role
Our client, a leading organization in healthcare innovation, is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join their team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting the development of life-changing medical technologies.
Job Title: Software Test Engineer Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay rate: $50 per hour
What's the Job? Lead software testing workstreams across multiple device ecosystems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with software developers to produce clear, concise design and test documentation. Implement and utilize static and dynamic unit testing tools and methodologies. Support validation processes for non-product software in accordance with FDA, EU-MDR, and ISO standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing procedures and quality assurance practices. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance. Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages. Knowledge of IEC 62304 software test methodologies, including unit, integration, and system testing. Experience with software validation in regulated environments, including FDA 21 CFR Part 820, EU-MDR, and ISO 13485.
