Senior Azure & System Administrator or Infrastructure Manager, reflecting your 10+ years of expertise. Job Title: Senior Azure & System Administrator Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure & System Administrator to oversee, optimize, and secure our hybrid cloud and on-premises IT infrastructure. With over 10+ years of professional IT experience, including a strong focus on Microsoft Azure ecosystems, you will play a pivotal role in driving cloud governance, automation, identity access control, and business continuity. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS, automated patch management, network connectivity, and security compliance (SOC 1/SOC 2), alongside proven experience leading infrastructure initiatives and resolving complex technical bottlenecks. Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & PaaS Administration Manage end-to-end Azure core infrastructure, including advanced VM provisioning, scaling, disk management, and compute performance tuning. Administer Azure PaaS offerings such as App Services, Azure Functions, and Storage Accounts. Drive cloud spend optimization through resource governance strategies and Azure reservations. Identity, Security & Compliance Design and enforce corporate security boundaries using Azure Entra ID, Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and application registrations. Implement secure storage access mechanisms utilizing Shared Access Signature (SAS) tokens. Lead infrastructure audit readiness and compliance workflows to support SOC 1 and SOC 2 certifications. Networking & Connectivity Design, deploy, and maintain robust Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Firewalls, and cross-region VNet peering. Configure and troubleshoot secure Site-to-Site (S2S) and Point-to-Site (P2S) VPNs. Business Continuity & Automation Architect reliable backup and disaster recovery workflows using Azure Backup, custom backup policies, and Recovery Services Vaults. Standardize server compliance and OS lifecycles by orchestrating automated patching via Azure Update Manager. Build monitoring dashboards and proactive alerting systems using KQL (Kusto Query Language) and Azure Monitor. On-Premises & Enterprise Systems Support Manage Windows Server environments (20032019), Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and Hyper-V virtualization. Administer Office 365 licensing, custom domains, and hybrid email routing setups. Host and maintain high-traffic IIS servers and manage SSL/TLS certificates. Required Qualifications & Experience Education: B.Tech in technical discipline/ Masters Experience: 10+ years of total experience in IT infrastructure support and system engineering, with 4+ years of dedicated expertise in Microsoft Azure administration. Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Governance). Strong proficiency in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory ecosystem management. Hands-on experience with log analysis using KQL. Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git) and secure file transfer protocols. Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) MCSA: Windows Server Soft Skills & Competencies Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex infrastructure roadblocks. Strong team leadership and collaborative capabilities. Clear communication skills for coordinating vendor workflows, managing strict SLA enforcement, and navigating compliance audits. .
