About the role
Role Overview: You will be a part of a dynamic team working in an Agile environment. Your role will involve following the team's architecture and development guidelines, owning the design, development, maintenance, testing strategy, and operations of API services primarily written in Python with SQL and NoSQL databases hosted in Azure. You will collaborate with smart engineers and business teams to solve complex problems related to building a multi-tenant system capable of securely ingesting data from different sources in real-time and batch mode while maintaining scaling capabilities. Your primary focus will be on Python, PyTest, and frameworks like Pandas and Flask. Key Responsibilities: - Be a self-starter who enjoys collaborating with smart engineers and business teams to solve complex problems. - Follow the team's architecture and development guidelines within an Agile environment. - Own the design, development, maintenance, testing strategy, and operations of API services primarily written in Python with SQL and NoSQL databases hosted in Azure. - Work with the team on design sessions to ensure high-quality work delivery. - Bring forth unique and innovative solutions to challenging problems and own them from ideation to implementation. - Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, and clients to understand requirements and drive feature development. - Work in a CI/CD environment and roll out products quickly with the ability to pivot as needed. - Collaborate with engineering leads across Data and Analytics solutions to define milestones and deliveries for new functionality and enhancements. Qualifications Required: - Project experience in development using Python language script. - Hands-on experience in debugging and performing data analysis. - Complete understanding of Object-Oriented Programming. - Hands-on experience in frameworks like Flask, Pandas, or Django. - Knowledge of Agile and tools like JIRA, Jenkins. - Experience in working on CI/CD implementation and version control tools. - Exposure to SQL.
