About the role
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, your role involves securing application layers, user databases, and cloud infrastructure networks to protect against modern threats, data leaks, and unauthorized access. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct automated scanning schedules and perform deep-dive penetration testing across software APIs and web frameworks for vulnerability management. - Enforce strict Zero-Trust cloud network models, manage encryption keys, and implement fine-grained Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls for cloud security architecture. - Lead response efforts during active security events, document root causes, and build automated remediation playbooks for incident response management. - Align system architectures with strict regulatory requirements such as SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA for compliance frameworks. Technical Stack Requirements: - Proficiency in security tools like Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nessus, and SonarQube (SAST). - Experience with SIEM & Analysis tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, AWS GuardDuty, and Wazuh. - Familiarity with network protections including WAFs, Cloudflare, VPC Security Groups, and TLS/mTLS. - Highly valued certifications include CISSP, CEH, CCSP, and OSCP.
