Automation Test Lead with Playwright @ Chennai

Role & responsibilities Automation Test Engineer for Banking Project We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Playwright, and API Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for web applications and APIs. The candidate should have experience working in Agile environments and be passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing. - Robust programming experience in Java. - Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework. - Experience in Web UI Automation Testing. - Strong experience in API Automation Testing using Rest Assured. - Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit frameworks. - Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools. - Proficiency in Git version control. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Good understanding of: - Page Object Model (POM) - Data-Driven Frameworks - Hybrid Automation Frameworks - BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (preferred) .
