Testing Commercial Functional Senior

Job Description: You will be responsible for leading a project team and monitoring all project activities from scratch. This includes participating and leading all status calls, Scrum calls, and client meetings. You will review and send out the DSR & WSR to stakeholders. Additionally, you will develop and maintain robust testing strategies and processes, ensuring they are properly implemented and followed. Your tasks will involve preparing test planning estimation, test strategy, requirement gathering/analysis, preparing test scenarios & test scripts based on requirements, executing planned test cases, reporting defects in a tracking tool, and ensuring their closure through the STLC process. You should have hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, as well as working knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, etc. Moreover, knowledge of API testing (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI), thorough knowledge of Database and ETL testing, and excellent communication skills are essential. You should also be able to define, monitor, and report on SLAs to ensure services meet agreed-upon performance and availability standards. The role may require you to work as an individual contributor as well as a Team Leader, managing resources effectively to ensure on-time delivery of products. Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks related to software quality at each phase of the software testing process will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be contributing to the delivery of processes, solutions, and/or projects by delivering agreed activities, applying judgment, and selecting appropriate methodologies. Accountability for meeting targets, coordinating the work of junior colleagues or team members, and meeting performance objectives and metrics set locally are also expected. Skills Required: - Experience in any of Non-Financial domains like Consumer Products and Retail, Health and Life Science, Telecom, Media and Entertainment, Oil and Natural Gas, Power and Utilities, Manufacturing, etc. - 5-9 years of experience in Quality Engineering. - Good to have experience in working on products like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Microsoft Dynamics 365, Blue Planet, etc. - Experience in GxP testing is desirable. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate concisely and clearly. - Problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure. - Competent technical skills. - Ability to work in a team and individually. - Organizational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines. - Passion for working with technology.
