Senior Technical Lead-Data Platform-Microsoft Fabric And Azure

Role Overview: You are being sought after by EY to take on the role of Senior Technical Lead Data Platform. Your main responsibility will be leading the design, building, and evolution of enterprise-grade data and analytics solutions, focusing primarily on Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platform, while also enabling integrated analytics and automation use cases. You will be expected to make architecture decisions within your domain, collaborate closely with business and product stakeholders, and eventually oversee a team of 5 developers to deliver scalable, secure solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end architecture for data and analytics solutions built on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform - Translate business needs into high-quality, scalable solution designs (HLDs / LLDs) and roadmaps - Own key architecture decisions and technology choices within the domain - Act as a hands-on technical lead contributing to critical components, complex builds, and proof-of-concepts - Guide development teams on implementation approaches, design patterns, and best practices - Architect and deliver solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse pipelines, semantic models), Azure Data Factory, and orchestration patterns - Define and implement data modeling, performance optimization, and monitoring practices - Design secure, reusable integration patterns (REST APIs, connectors) - Enable downstream analytics and reporting (Power BI / Fabric) - Define and enforce patterns within owned solutions for security, scalability, performance, and cost optimization - Partner closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and enterprise architecture - Provide clear solution options, trade-offs, and recommendations aligned to outcomes - Develop the leadership skills to lead a team of 5 developers, mentoring engineers, and building team capability Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline - 10-15 years of overall IT experience across data and analytics - 3-5 years in a senior technical lead or architect capacity - Proven experience delivering Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure-based data platforms - Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills - Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to document technical designs, data models, and engineering workflows Additional Company Details: EY is dedicated to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet while fostering trust in capital markets.
