AWS Technical Lead Software Engineering To qualify for the role, you must have Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor/masters degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus. 6+ years of working experience with particular focus on the following: Cloud & Platform Expertise Strong hands-on experience with: AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions) Azure Functions Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles Programming Proficiency in: Python Node.js(Preferred) Experience with: Kafka Kafka alternatives (e.g., AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, etc.) Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns in distributed ecosystem Containers & Orchestration Hands-on experience with: Docker Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) Good to have Experience with microservices architecture Familiarity with CI/CDpipelines (practical exposure, not purely DevOps-focused) Knowledge of observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing) Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications Roles and Responsibilities: Implement event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging/event streaming technologies Build and manage microservices using containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms Develop serverless applications using: AWS Lambda, Step Functions Node JS /Python Work with container platforms: AWS EKS / ECS Azure Functions Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability through optimization, monitoring, and tuning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues EY | Building a better working world EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets.
