Consultant - Tech Consulting - Data Analyst

Role Overview: As a Data Analyst with SQL expertise, you will be responsible for working with large datasets, ETL processes, and Data Warehouse environments. Your role will involve end-to-end data analytics tasks, including data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders. Your strong SQL skills and understanding of data pipelines and warehouse concepts will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis - Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation on large and complex datasets - Work with ETL processes and data warehouse systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements - Support end-to-end analytics workflows including data sourcing, transformation, and insights generation - Troubleshoot data quality issues and perform root cause analysis - Ensure performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and data processes Qualifications Required: Must-Have Skills: - Strong hands-on experience in SQL including complex queries, joins, subqueries, functions, and performance tuning - Experience with ETL tools and/or Data Warehouse concepts such as fact/dimension tables, schemas, and data modeling basics - Solid understanding of data analysis, data validation, and reconciliation techniques - Experience handling large-scale datasets in production environments Good-to-Have Skills (Not Mandatory): - Exposure to Power BI or Tableau for basic reporting or data validation - Familiarity with basic data modeling concepts Additional Details: This role does not require Power BI development skills, as visualization abilities are considered secondary. Preferred backgrounds for this role include SQL Developer, ETL Developer, or Data Analyst with SQL-heavy roles.
