Job Overview: Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and architecture of data center and disaster recover solutions that meet client requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and efficiency. - Conduct thorough data center facility assessments and site audits to identify areas for improvement or optimization. - Develop data center layouts and designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Provide expertise on data center tiering and recommend appropriate solutions based on client needs. - Advise on and implement hybrid cloud setups, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises data center resources and public cloud services. - Design and oversee the implementation of data center connectivity solutions, including network architecture and bandwidth considerations. - Manage data center consolidation projects, optimizing infrastructure and reducing operational costs. - Collaborate with clients to understand their hosting and co-location requirements and provide tailored solutions. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data center infrastructure and operations. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including facilities management, IT, and security, to ensure cohesive project delivery. - Document all aspects of data center architecture and provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree or equivalent experience preferred. - 11-12 years of experience in data center architecture and operations, with a proven track record of success .
