About the role
As a Manager - Business Consulting at EY, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) enabled digital transformation solutions across various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, life sciences, and energy. Your key responsibilities will include: - Owning end-to-end solution architecture spanning OT systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES/MOM, Historians), edge platforms, data ingestion layers, analytics engines, and enterprise IT systems. - Driving IT-OT convergence initiatives and defining architecture standards, governance models, and operating procedures for connected industrial environments. - Developing and presenting digital, data, and OT transformation roadmaps, prioritizing use-cases, developing business cases, and implementing phased plans. - Designing and implementing real-time and batch data pipelines using modern streaming and data engineering frameworks. - Applying advanced analytics, AI/ML, anomaly detection, and optimization techniques to enable predictive maintenance, asset health monitoring, energy optimization, quality monitoring, and operational excellence. - Ensuring OT cybersecurity-by-design, including secure device connectivity, network segmentation, identity and access management, and protection of critical industrial assets. - Engaging with clients globally as a trusted advisor to business, engineering, IT, and security stakeholders. - Leading, mentoring, and managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution and capability building. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent. - Approximately 9+ years of experience with hands-on exposure to Operational Technology, IIoT, digital transformation, and solution architecture. - Strong proficiency in Python and experience with building scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines. - Hands-on experience with OT and IIoT platforms and industrial protocols. - Strong understanding of OT systems such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES/MOM, and Historian integrations. - Experience in data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and cybersecurity principles. - Strong communication and consulting skills.
