Hi We have open position for : Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) Expert / Architect role. Below are the details for reference . Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Azure AKS Expert with strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, automating, and supporting enterprise-scale container platforms on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Kubernetes, AKS architecture, cloud-native technologies, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and production support operations. The role requires close collaboration with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available containerized environments. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, configure, and manage enterprise-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. Build and maintain highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes platforms. Implement Kubernetes cluster administration activities including upgrades, patching, scaling, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery. Configure and manage container networking, ingress controllers, load balancing, DNS, and service mesh technologies. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or similar IaC tools. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools. Manage containerization using Docker and optimize container image management practices. Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights, and related tools. Ensure platform security through RBAC, Azure AD integration, Key Vault, network policies, image scanning, and Kubernetes security best practices. Troubleshoot complex platform, networking, and application deployment issues in AKS environments. Support production operations including incident management, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and problem management. Work closely with development teams to onboard and modernize applications onto Kubernetes platforms. Implement GitOps and automation best practices for platform operations. Participate in architecture reviews, capacity planning, and cloud optimization initiatives. Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks, and knowledge repositories. Mandatory Technical Skills Azure & Cloud Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services Deep expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Experience with Azure Networking, VNETs, NSGs, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Azure Firewall Azure AD integration and identity management Experience with Azure Storage and Key Vault Kubernetes & Containers Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting skills Experience with Helm Charts and Kubernetes package management Expertise in Docker and container orchestration Knowledge of ingress controllers, service mesh, autoscaling, and cluster optimization DevOps & Automation CI/CD pipeline implementation experience Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / Jenkins Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep Scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python Git version control and branching strategies Monitoring & Security Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana Container and Kubernetes security best practices Vulnerability management and policy enforcement Logging, observability, and alerting frameworks Preferred Skills Experience with OpenShift or other Kubernetes platforms Exposure to microservices architecture Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization Exposure to multi-cloud environments Understanding of SRE principles and operational excellence practices Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Relevant Azure certifications preferred Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Kindly share your resume at mallika.1@in.ey.com Thanks & Regards Mallika Sinha .
