SOAR Analyst Manager

As a Threat Detection & Response Consulting - Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) Manager at EY, your role involves working with diverse teams to combat cyber threats and identify security automation strategies. Your key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with customers to develop security automation strategies and provide creative integrations and playbooks. - Working with team members to find practical solutions to customers' challenges. - Designing and implementing SOAR solutions such as Phantom, Demisto, or Resilient. - Executing and maintaining SOAR-related analytical processes and tasks. - Managing and administering SOAR platforms. - Utilizing Incident Response and Threat Intelligence tools. - Creating reusable Python-based Playbooks. - Partnering with security operations teams, threat intelligence groups, and incident responders. - Developing technical content such as automation scripts/tools and reference architectures. - Demonstrating expertise in network monitoring technology platforms and endpoint protection tools. Qualifications and experience required for this role include: - 7-9 years of experience in cyber security with network architecture knowledge. - Strong oral, written, and listening skills. - Background in network administration and OSI models. - Knowledge of Vulnerability Management, Windows setup, Linux administration, and scripting technologies. - Honours degree in a technical field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in SOAR. - Certification in SIEM Solutions and core security disciplines.
