Backend Application Developer

As a Backend Application Developer at EzeRx HealthTech Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in architecting, developing, and scaling secure backend systems that power healthcare applications, connected devices, real-time dashboards, and cloud-based healthcare intelligence platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. - Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices architecture for healthcare applications and IoT-enabled medical devices. - Develop high-performance server-side logic for web and mobile applications. - Create reusable, optimized, and maintainable backend modules. - Architect scalable backend infrastructure capable of handling large-scale healthcare screening and device data. - Design distributed systems for real-time data synchronization and monitoring. - Optimize backend performance, database queries, caching, and load balancing. - Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of applications. - Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases. - Develop secure healthcare data storage and retrieval systems. - Implement database optimization, indexing, backup, and disaster recovery mechanisms. - Maintain data integrity and audit trails for medical applications. - Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows. - Monitor infrastructure performance, uptime, and application logs. - Collaborate with DevOps teams for infrastructure automation and security compliance. - Implement secure authentication and authorization systems (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC). - Ensure HIPAA-like healthcare data protection principles and secure API communication. - Implement encryption standards for healthcare and patient-related data. - Support compliance integration related to ABDM, HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability frameworks. - Integrate backend systems with medical devices, IoT hardware, and sensor-based platforms. - Support real-time device communication and telemetry data pipelines. - Work closely with firmware and embedded teams for seamless device-to-cloud communication. - Collaborate with frontend developers, AI engineers, biomedical engineers, and product teams. - Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and technical reviews. - Write clean documentation, API specifications, and deployment guidelines. - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure continuous system improvements. Required Technical Skills: - Strong expertise in one or more of Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask), Node.js (Express.js / NestJS), Java (Spring Boot), PHP (Laravel). - RESTful API development, microservices architecture, WebSockets and real-time communication, API Gateway integration, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation. - Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Firebase (optional). - Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker & Kubernetes, NGINX, Linux server administration, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Knowledge of JWT Authentication, OAuth2, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), API security best practices, encryption & secure data handling. Educational Qualification: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines. Experience: - 26 years of backend development experience, with preference given to those with experience in Healthcare, MedTech, IoT, SaaS, or cloud-platforms.
