About the role
As a Networking Software Engineer / Technical Lead at our company, your role will involve designing and developing control-plane features for carrier-grade routing platforms. You should have a strong background in networking protocol development and hands-on experience in building scalable routing solutions in Linux environments using C. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications for this position: Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable routing features for network operating systems - Implement and enhance BGP, MPLS, EVPN, and Segment Routing functionalities - Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and production issues - Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews - Collaborate with global engineering teams - Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence Qualifications Required: - Strong C Programming on Linux - Experience in BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN, Segment Routing - Routing Protocol & Control-Plane Development experience - Familiarity with Router/Switch Product Development Good To Have: - Linux Networking Stack / Kernel Knowledge - Experience with DPDK or High-Performance Packet Processing - Knowledge of YANG, Netconf, CLI Frameworks - Understanding of High Availability (HA) and Redundancy Systems In addition to the technical aspects of the job, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies such as SRv6, EVPN, and MPLS.
