About the role
Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: - Provide installation, configuration, and maintenance support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. - Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network issues efficiently. - Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and system policies. - Perform routine server checks, patching, and basic administration tasks. - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. - Provide first-level firewall monitoring and assist in configuration changes. - Ensure endpoint security and compliance with organizational policies. - Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues. - Provide end-user support and training when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3-5 years of experience as a Desktop Engineer / IT Support Engineer in an enterprise environment. - Hands-on experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, switches, routers). - Basic server administration knowledge (Windows Server, Linux preferred). - Experience with firewall systems (Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, or similar). - Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems. - Robust problem-solving and communication skills. - Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.: - Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA A+/N+, or Firewall certifications are a plus. .
