Cloud Performance Specialis

Role Description The Cloud Performance Specialist is a part-time, remote role focused on monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of cloud-based systems and applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and conducting performance testing to ensure reliability and scalability of cloud services. The specialist will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to recommend configuration changes, resource allocations, and architectural improvements that enhance system efficiency. This role also involves documenting findings, preparing reports, and communicating performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret performance metrics and identify trends.Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Candidates should possess experience in Performance Management to monitor service levels and optimize cloud resource usage.Candidates should possess hands-on Performance Testing skills to validate system behavior under various workloads.Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus) is beneficial.Knowledge of networking, distributed systems, and application architectures supporting scalable cloud solutions is advantageous.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks is required. .
