Software Test Engineer Manual / Automation

Role Overview: As a Quality Engineer at Falkor, you will be joining the Product team to contribute to shaping the future of work in complex industries. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of software releases through manual and automation testing. You will play a crucial role in transforming complexity into clarity and data into decisions to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance across various heavy-asset industries. Key Responsibilities: - Understand application requirements and design features to write test cases effectively. - Conduct various types of testing including Manual Testing (Ad-hoc, Functional, UI, System, Regression Testing, Security, etc.) and Automation testing (Playwright Automation, Javascript, Selenium, etc.). - Perform the full Software Quality Assurance (SQA) cycle for software releases, from gathering specs to test plan development, execution, and result analysis. - Engage in verification activities such as requirements gathering, feature testing, regression testing, load testing, and performance testing. - Create test cases for both Web Applications and Mobile Applications, execute tests using Microsoft Test Manager, and report findings. - Collaborate with the Lead and team members to define processes and strategies, ensuring clarity on how features should function and taking ownership of related tasks. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in Manual and Automation testing with proficiency in Microsoft technologies, TFS, VSTS, and Microsoft Test Manager. - Expertise in Manual Testing (Ad-hoc, Functional, UI, System, Regression Testing, Security, etc.) and Automation testing (Javascript, Playwright Automation, Selenium, etc.). - Strong knowledge of Agile software development processes and experience in API automation testing. - Familiarity with Azure Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD practices is a plus. - Passion for technology, commitment to quality, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive collaboration and innovation. - Proficiency in written and verbal English communication, along with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. - Experience with modern team collaboration tools like Slack, MS Teams, and the capability to create quality content for internal and external use. - Desire to work on meaningful challenges, collaborate with diverse colleagues, and contribute to the global expansion of a technology-driven company like Falkor.
