Key Responsibilities: - Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Document DB, Redis) - Design and implement scalable database architectures for high volume data - Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patching in coordination with development and infrastructure teams - Manage database deployment topologies, data models, and application access patterns - Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views for business-critical applications - Develop optimized NoSQL queries and aggregation pipelines for MongoDB and other document databases - Implement and maintain comprehensive database monitoring tools and dashboards - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, and partitioning - Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies for SQL and NoSQL databases - Implement automated backup solutions with appropriate retention policies - Implement and enforce database security best practices and industry standards - Manage role-based access controls (RBAC), user permissions, and authentication mechanisms - Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud-managed database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Google Cloud SQL) Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases - Hands-on experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance - Knowledge of regulatory compliance and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies - Experience in database consolidation, schema design and evaluation, performance tuning, and query optimization - Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for database security and compliance - Ability to work closely with development teams to ensure data consistency, integrity, and security across all database platforms Role Overview: Join the Legacy of Innovation with FCI-CCM.
