About the role
As a Data Science and Operations Research (DSOR) Enablement III, you will play a crucial role in integrating advanced analytics and operations research methodologies within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include optimizing business processes and decision-making through the implementation of data-driven solutions that align with organizational objectives. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to delivering valuable insights and solutions while effectively communicating DSOR initiatives to ensure alignment with value-driven outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of the DSOR Enablement function, contributing to its strategic initiatives. - Support DSOR initiatives by promoting data-driven solutions that enhance business processes. - Provide support and assist in setting priorities for DSOR projects, ensuring effective execution from hypothesis to deliverable. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement. - Support the design of user-centric products that align with business goals, enhancing decision-making. - Clearly communicate DSOR concepts to stakeholders, supporting alignment with enterprise objectives. - Monitor project progress and support accountability for project milestones, contributing to impactful solutions. - Assist in the development and dissemination of best practices for the DSOR discipline. Qualifications Required: - Leadership and mentorship abilities within a team. - Good project management skills and the ability to support a portfolio of projects. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency with data science and operations research tools and methodologies. - Leadership skills to support strategy and motivate team members. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences. - Effective decision-making skills, able to support project decisions. - Facilitation skills, able to guide group discussions and gather feedback. - Understanding of Agile, scrum, or other software development methodologies. - Familiarity with program and/or product management disciplines. In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related discipline is required, with an advanced degree preferred. You should have three to four years of experience working with teams in analytics, data science, operations research, engineering, or a related field, demonstrating leadership in managing teams and executing complex projects. Practitioner or practitioner-adjacent experience in analytics, data science, operations research, or related fields inclusive of prototyping and rapid experimentation is also valuable for this role.
