About Us

At Félix, we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot built on WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before.

We are a hyper-growth Series B company, backed by over $100 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get shit done with urgency and focus.

Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are bold, we care less about what others are doing, and more about creating sustainable value and a product that truly makes our users' lives better. We are building the future, today.

About the Role

The Disbursements team owns the systems that ensure every dollar we move arrives at its destination safely and efficiently. As we've scaled, so has the complexity of our payout engine. We are looking for a Product Operations Manager to own the execution layer. This is a high-ownership role for someone energized by operational rigor, data precision, and systematic execution. You'll be the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and Business Operations, catching issues before they cost us, building processes that scale, and ensuring every new capability we ship lands cleanly.

Responsibilities

  • New Integrations: Own the end-to-end integration, testing, and validation of new payout rails, managing the process from kickoff through launch. Whether scoping features for engineering or communicating with external stakeholders, you do whatever it takes to launch integrations quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Rail & Provider Health: Proactively monitor payment rail status, track changes in provider availability and limits, and escalate issues before they reach users.
  • Disaster Recovery: Lead operational response during outages, coordinating teams, pulling impacted transactions, and driving the network back to steady state.
  • Post-Launch Monitoring: After each new rail or feature ships, set up monitoring, surface issues to Product, and elevate the quality of our product offerings.
  • Ongoing Execution: Own intake of short-turnaround cross-functional requests, scope the work, gather partner documentation, and make tickets engineering-ready.
  • Runbook Documentation: Translate recurring processes into clean SOPs that enable faster incident response and eventual delegation to Operations.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in product ops, analytics, fintech, technology, or related experience
  • Advanced use of BI tools; strong analytical skills and SQL proficiency are a plus
  • Energized by process and precision, you break complex problems into repeatable systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of product and engineering: you can read a technical design doc, ask the right questions about API contracts and system dependencies, and hold your own in architecture discussions.
  • Native or professional fluency in Spanish is required, as you will be deep in the weeds of our core user chat experience. High proficiency in English is required for internal collaboration.
  • Emotional Intelligence & Influence: You can lead without formal authority, building relationships and managing stakeholders across diverse departments and cultures.
  • Bias for Action: You prefer a "done" project over a "perfect" plan and move with the urgency a hyper-growth startup requires.
  • These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Initial stock options grant
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision plans
  • Remote work environment, although we have offices in Miami and México City and would love to work in hybrid model if you are up to it.
  • Continuous learning opportunities
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment

While we’re currently enjoying a remote setup, we’re excited to transition to a hybrid, hub-centric strategy to bring our teams closer and supercharge collaboration! Our hubs will be located in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Would you be open to joining us at one of these locations in the future? *

Yes, I am currently in one of these cities, or planning to move there, and happy to work in a hybrid mode.

No, I am looking for a permanently remote role

How many years of experience do you have in Product Operations, Fintech Operations, or a closely related technical-operational role? *

Which of the following best describes your experience collaborating with Engineering teams on technical product launches or integrations? *

I have personally owned the end-to-end integration of technical rails/APIs, including scoping requirements for engineers, reviewing technical docs, and managing UAT

I have participated as a stakeholder in technical launches, providing business requirements and helping with post-launch testing alongside a lead.

I have worked in operations or product but have not had direct responsibility for the technical "under-the-hood" integration or engineering-ready ticketing.

How would you describe your proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Metabase) and data analysis? *

Expert: I build complex, automated dashboards from scratch, write my own SQL queries to pull raw data, and use these insights to drive operational decisions.

Proficient: I am comfortable navigating existing dashboards, filtering data to find answers, and can perform basic data analysis to track KPIs.

Beginner: I primarily rely on reports generated by others and do not currently use BI tools or SQL in my daily workflow.

Which statement best describes your experience managing operational "outages" or system failures? *

I have led the response during critical system outages, coordinating cross-functional "war rooms," communicating with external partners, and documenting the post-mortem/SOPs.

I have been part of a team that responded to outages and helped execute specific tasks within a pre-defined runbook or recovery plan.

I have not yet had the opportunity to lead or manage technical disaster recovery or emergency operational responses.
