Senior Hw Product Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out HW product design to ensure the technical and functional feasibility of products, supporting project teams in achieving cost, quality, and timing goals set by the management. You will collaborate with the Master in Design to assess technical feasibility during offer and development stages, following Ficosa Development System and Idneo Development System methodologies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring technical feasibility solutions are in line with the business unit's technical level - Cooperating with manufacturing teams for product industrialization - Delivering development and prototypes as per client-defined plans - Participating in product and process FMEA - Managing product modifications effectively during development - Analyzing technical test report results with the Quality Engineer to identify necessary solutions Additionally, you will support the competitiveness of the business unit by improving costs, quality, and product functionality through the adoption of technical progress solutions. You will cooperate with the Purchasing department and suppliers to optimize components in terms of cost, quality, and manufacturability. Ensuring the use of standardized solutions in all product development processes for various clients within the business unit. You will also contribute to the generation of Electronic Design delivery documents and satisfy EMC and safety standards based on customer requirements. Requirements for this position include: - Academic background in University Engineering Degree, mainly in Electronics or Telecommunications - Fluency in local language and English, both written and spoken - Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions Other specifications include additional training in R&D Tools, FDS, IDS, Problem Solving, FMEA, and knowledge of HW architecture, embedded systems, and various programming languages. Experience with digital image sensors, video displays, MIPI, LabView, and FPGA programming will be advantageous. Mechanical system design or optics design knowledge is a plus.
