Engineering Manager(PLSQL, Python , AWS)

Essential Skills and Experience • 7+ years of experience in data or software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role • Demonstrated success in leading teams to deliver business-critical projects on time and within scope • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in communicating timelines, trade-offs, and decisions across technical and non-technical audiences • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, manage dependencies, and drive alignment across multiple teams • Excellent people leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring, developing, and motivating engineers • Experience improving delivery processes and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery practices • Knowledge of investment management industry concepts, particularly security reference data, fund reference data, transactions, orders, holdings, different asset classes and fund accounting Desirable Skills and Experience • Experience managing data engineering teams across both traditional database systems and cloud-based platforms • Background in delivering large-scale data migration or modernization initiatives within complex organizations • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance considerations in financial services • Track record of building and scaling high-performing, delivery-focused engineering teams • Ability to champion innovation and adoption of new practices, tools, and delivery models • Experience of front office investment risk and/or analytics systems
