About the role
As a Specialist - Analytics at Fidelity's Analytics function in India, you will play a key role in supporting the company's global Sales, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Customer Service, and HR teams. Your main responsibilities will include: - Analysis and insight generation: Utilizing various data sources and methods to explore, understand, and communicate patterns, trends, and insights relevant to clients and stakeholders. - Creating ML models: Applying machine learning techniques and tools to build, evaluate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models addressing business challenges and opportunities. - Dashboarding and storytelling: Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that effectively highlight data analysis and model results. - Data Engineering: Collaborating with Data Engineering teams to improve data availability and automate processes. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or related fields. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar programming languages; experience with machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. - Expertise in using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Knowledge of Knime, Alteryx, or similar platforms is advantageous. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to addressing complex challenges. - Effective communication skills to present data-driven insights and stories to senior stakeholders and support decision-making processes. - Demonstrated adaptability, taking ownership in ambiguous situations, and successfully managing projects independently. - Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional and global teams.
