About the role
Role Overview: Join the Technology and Engineering Testing team at FIL India Technology in Gurgaon, India, and be a part of a dynamic group that is dedicated to delivering quality solutions at a faster pace to meet end customer experience demands. As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the testing programme, focusing on services, functional testing, and test automation. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day activities, providing tech guidelines, and ensuring the timely delivery of automation assignments. This role offers you the opportunity to work with experienced technologists and contribute to the development of services and functional automation suites. Key Responsibilities: - Focus on services, functional testing, and test automation - Cover key capability gaps and shape the testing programme with clear scope and agenda - Leverage existing automation experts to deliver prioritized backlog on time - Create services and functional automation suite following DevOps principles - Manage day-to-day activities of the team and provide tech guidelines - Implement best practices and reference implementations for automation assignments Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of experience - B.E./B.Tech/M.C.A - Expert level experience in Core Java and J2EE development - Experience in test automation framework design for service layer/API (e.g., SoapUI) - Proficiency in at least one functional test automation tool like Selenium, Test Complete, etc. - Familiarity with application development tools and frameworks such as Maven, Jenkins, Git - Experience with Oracle (preferably Oracle 10G) and queries - Knowledge of source code management tools like GitHub - Strong engineering skills, CI/CD experience, and familiarity with build/deployment automation tools - Good soft skills including excellent communication and analytical abilities Additional Company Details: Fidelity International has been helping clients build better financial futures for over 50 years by fostering a collaborative environment where employees support each other worldwide.
