About the role
Role & responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues. Manage Windows/Linux servers and Active Directory. Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and network devices. Perform system updates, patch management, and software installations. Monitor and verify backup jobs and assist with disaster recovery testing. Implement and maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and cyber security controls. Manage user accounts, email systems (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace), and access permissions. Troubleshoot system, application, and network issues. Maintain IT asset inventory and software license records. Coordinate with external vendors for AMC, warranty, and technical support. Prepare IT documentation, SOPs, and technical reports. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards. Preferred candidate profile Windows Server and Active Directory Microsoft 365 Administration Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) Firewall and VPN management Backup solutions (e.g., Veeam) Endpoint security and antivirus management Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) Basic cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Key Competencies Problem-solving Customer service orientation Attention to detail Time management Teamwork Documentation and reporting
